Yarn Along..

Hand dyed Pile-O-Fluff..

..tucked in my bag for some Easter spinning at the cabin.

Cabin window complete with Easter bunting.

Tossed the drop spindle in my pack and hiked to our favorite spot on the river.

Sun!

River spun.

River otter and porcupine.

This fiber is part of a two ounce challenge for my spinning group.
Spin two ounces on the drop spindle and make something with it.

Cast on this week for a small shawlette..
Will post the pattern once I have a bit more done.

Reading this to curb spring wanderlust.

  4. The cabin looks really cosy. I've never spun my own yarn but it's something I'd like to try. Looks like a great hiking spot!

  5. Spinning by a river in the sun - that is heaven! Your yarn looks awesome as does the project you are working on. I can't wait to see it completed.

  6. Beautiful handspun! I have only done solid or semi-solids on my spindle. Now I am inspired to do something multi-colored!
