Cooking..

This week has been full of tomatoes..

Chopping.
Stewing.
Cooking.
Canning.
Sauces.
Salsa.

Cooking tomatoes in the kitchen..
Cooking wool in the garage..

Brazilwood natural dye!

Experiments with color.

I couldn't find my note page on Brazilwood so I had to wing it.
Made the dye bath too strong and rinsing out has been taking a bit longer.

Loving the colors of nature..

  5. Brilliant that you do this Leigh- I really admire you and your talent. Can't believe that brazil wood - would produce this saturated color- it's truly beautiful!

I miss canning. I haven't had time to garden or can for a couple years now.

  9. Hooray for tomatoes. I have been eating so many..breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also have some cooking down in the oven. I'll bag them up later and freeze them.
    Now, the yarn. Swoon!
