Yarn Along..

I haven't had much luck with them in the past.

After talking with a friend at the guild, she was kind enough to loan me this book..

Elizabeth Zimmerman.
Need I say more?

It's like she is talking to me...

Some first hats.

The brown and pink is a hand dyed chunky hand spun.

Thanks Linda for making hats fun!

Do you have a favorite hat pattern?

Joining Ginny..

  1. These are lovely...your hand spun makes them so unique and beautiful Leigh.

  2. the Swirl Hat, free on Ravelry. It is my go to hat and I literally have made it at least a dozen times with two more on my needles

  3. great hats! and stunning yarn :)

  4. I LOVE the brown and pink hat. I am not much of hat wearer but I really want to try the Wurm hat. It looks so different.

  5. I love making hats and yours are beautiful! I just bought that book and am seriously considering trying a Fair Isle hat (colorwork and I have not agreed in the past...) with EZ coaching right alongside me. She makes it sound easy which I think is what I need...

  6. hmmm, I wonder if I would like that book.
I like you hat - I am due for a new one too!

  7. The book looks good. I love the Rikke hat, it's a fun pattern.

  8. that is a knitting bible in my opinion. I own most of her books and they are revolutionary of how knitting is viewed. Lovely knitting!
